Subscribing to GreyNet

GreyNet is an email listserv that disseminates information about Greysheet - meetings, members, food questions, and Greysheet Anonymous issues - and enables Greysheeters worldwide to communicate with one another. The GreyNet is not a chat room; it's a common alias that enables you to send email to the great universe of fellow Greysheeters, and receive email sent to GreyNet from any other subscriber.

How to subscribe:

To subscribe to the GreyNet, send an e-mail to greynet-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Put subscribe as the subject. In the message itself, put your name, e-mail address and location. If you are subscribing someone else, the request should originate from the new subscriber's e-mail address, not yours. Remember, the message MUST originate from the new subscriber's address.

How to change options:

Changing options (for instance, from digest to individual mailings {or vice versa} or to web only) is something members do themselves. Here are the directions:

Go to http://www.yahoogroups.com/community/greynet
Click on members.
Click on your own listing.
Select the option you desire.
Select your own name from the list. Follow the directions you will find on the page containing your data. After the learning time involved, it's pretty easy.
